16th April 1999. Shri S.K. Sood , IAS, has taken charge of Member Secretary , NPPA, from Dr. S.M. Jharwal with effect from 16.4.1999. Shri S.K. Sood was working as Joint Secretary (Pharmaceutical Industry) in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers before taking of this assignment. Dr. S.M. Jharwal has assumed the charge of Officer on Special Duty in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals .
