The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has fixed/revised the ceiling price of one formulation and the Non-ceiling prices of some Scheduled Formulations on 18th June, 1999. The details are as under :

1. The details of changes in the prices and the companies involved in the revision of prices are contained in the Explanatory Note

2. The Ceiling Price of Levodopa Tablets 500mg (10's Al/St & Al/Bl) have been fixed/revised vide Gazette Notification S. O. 466(E) dated 18th June, 1999. The ceiling price of 10's Al/St has been revised from Rs. 14.62 to 38.22 (excluding excise duty). The ceiling price for 10's Al/Bl has been fixed for the first time at Rs. 37.78.

3. The Non-Ceiling Price of 20 Manufacturers have been fixed/revised as given below :
