Explanatory Note

Sub : Notification of norms for Conversion Cost, Packing Charges and Process Loss under DPCO, 1995.

As per para 7 of Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995, the government is required to fix the norms of conversion cost, packing charges and process loss and notify the same in the Official Gazette.

The norms were last notified vide S.O. 578(E) dated 13th July, 1999 published in the Gazette of India. The validity of the above notification is hereby extended by issuing the notification No. S. O. 660 (E) dated 12.07.2000 enclosed herewith.
